Revolution United FC Signs Partnership With Professional Soccer Team From Spain

Revolution United FC (RUFC) has signed a partnership with Spanish Club Alcorcon. A Professional Club from Spain. In February, RUFC President, Fabian Cano along with Coach Rodrigo and RUFC former player/coach Max, traveled to Spain and made a tremendous connection with the Spanish Club. During one week, the coaches had an intense coaching course and an introduction to the Spanish Club Philosophy. While player Max had the opportunity to do a trial with the Club.

This new partnership will bring endless opportunities to our players, families, and coaches.

RUFC players will now have the opportunity to be selected to soccer trials in Spain.

RUFC Coaches will also get the opportunity to collaborate with the Alcorcon Youth  Academy Coaches during the ID Clinics and Drafts that will be happening in June.
Gracias Alcorcon for believing in RUFC.

"It was great to have the opportunity to train with a professional team and it is something that I will remember all my life. This experience taught me a lot of things and gave me a taste of what it feels like to play at the professional level. I would like to thank Revolution United FC and AD Alcorcon for the amazing experience". Max Cano

Revolution United FC has joined Dr. Elke Cheung Dentistry to participate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night and help raise funds for this cause.

Light The Night is an evening walk and fundraising event supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission to find cures for blood cancers. It is our communities' night to bring light to the darkness of cancer by celebrating those who are fighting the disease and to honor those we have lost. This year’s light the night for Fairfield County will take place on

Saturday, October 27th - Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. - Registration opens at 5PM.

How Can you participate

We've formed a joint Light The Night fundraising team and we hope you’ll:

1.   Join us in the walk

We will be walking in memory of Kyle Markes.  The Markes family are dear friends.  Leukemia took 11-year-old Kyle away from us Christmas Eve of 2013 after a brave yearlong battle.  He was an amazing young man that was beloved by all.  Kyle and his family have inspired us all with their strength, courage, and faith in God.

2.   You can also consider donating towards this cause

No amount is too small, we are trying in my own small way to help fight cancer.

By joining our team and raising funds for this important cause, you'll be making a real impact on the fight against cancer. Walk night is a light filled evening where we come together as a community to honor survivors, raise awareness of blood cancers and remember those who have lost their battle.

Register and/or donate by visiting our Team page and join our efforts today!

Click the 'Join' button next to our team at the bottom of the page and follow the prompts to register.

Once you've joined the team, we'll need your help to reach our team fundraising goal. Don't worry - fundraising is easier than you think. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides all the tools you need, including your own personal fundraising page. Plus, we'll be here to support and encourage you along the way. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
